- Free - Library, source processing, summaries, concepts, source-level Ask AI
- Plus - Everything in Free, plus writing drafts, all citation styles, all export formats, larger file uploads
- Pro - Everything in Plus, plus library-wide Ask AI, project-level Ask AI, AI Write in drafts, synthesis generation
- Max - Everything in Pro, plus higher limits and priority processing
Checking your plan
Go to Settings > General to see your current plan and usage. The AI credits and storage cards show how much of your monthly allowance remains.
Upgrading
Go to Settings > Billing and choose between monthly and yearly billing. Select a plan and click Upgrade to complete the checkout.
Yearly billing saves you money compared to paying monthly.
Managing your subscription
Go to Settings > Billing and click Manage subscription to update your payment method, switch plans, or view invoices.
What happens when you hit a limit
When you reach a monthly limit (AI credits or storage), Kognific lets you know which limit was reached and offers to upgrade. Your existing sources, annotations, and data are never affected.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time from Settings > Billing > Manage subscription. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, then reverts to the Free plan.
