Managing Sources
Search, filter, sort, favorite, and delete sources in your library.
Searching
Use the search bar at the top of your Library to find sources by title or author name.
Filtering
Click the filter button next to the search bar to narrow your library by:
- Favorites - show only favorited sources
- Type - PDF, Audio, Video, Web, Image, or Text
- Status - Unread, Reading, Reviewed, or Cited
- Tags - any of your tags
Active filters appear as chips below the search bar. Click the x on any chip to remove it, or click Clear all to reset.
Sorting
Click any column header in the library table to sort by that column. You can sort by title, authors, year, reading status, category, annotation count, or date added. The default sort is newest first.
Favorites
Hover over any source in the Library to reveal a star icon on the left side of the title. Click it to toggle the source as a favorite. You can also favorite a source from the three-dot menu (···) when viewing it.
Bulk actions
Select multiple sources using the checkboxes in the Library table. A toolbar appears at the bottom with options to:
- Change Status - set all selected sources to Unread, Reading, Reviewed, or Cited
- Add to Project - add the selected sources to a project
- Add Tags - apply tags to all selected sources
- Favorite - toggle favorites for all selected sources
- Delete - permanently remove all selected sources
Deleting a source
Open a source and click the three-dot menu (···) in the top-right, then select Delete. You'll be asked to confirm before the source is permanently removed.
Deleting a source removes it from your library and all projects, along with its annotations, uploaded files, and AI conversations. This cannot be undone.
Exporting a source
Open a source and click the three-dot menu (···), then select Export as Markdown. This exports the source's extracted content as a .md file.
Exporting as Markdown requires a Plus plan or higher.
