Welcome to Kognific
What Kognific is, how it works, and where to start.
Kognific is a research workspace that helps you collect, read, and understand your research sources. Upload PDFs, paste web article URLs, add audio or video recordings, and Kognific handles the rest: AI-generated summaries, key findings, concept extraction, and a chat interface that lets you ask questions about your material.
The core workflow
- 1
Add your sources
Upload a PDF, paste a URL, or add any other research material. Kognific accepts PDFs, web articles, audio files, video files, images, and plain text.
- 2
Read and explore
Each source is processed automatically. You get a summary, key findings, and extracted concepts. Read the original content, browse the AI analysis, or jump straight to the key ideas.
- 3
Ask questions
Use Ask AI to have a conversation about a single source, all sources in a project, or across your entire library. Get explanations, find specific details, or discover connections between papers.
- 4
Organize and write
Group sources into projects, apply tags, and track your reading progress. Write drafts with inline citations pulled from your sources, or generate synthesis documents that analyze your sources together.
